Empowering women, uplifting villages.

A cow that pays for itself, a girl who becomes the village nurse, sight given back to a grandmother. PRDS works beside the poorest families of rural Andhra Pradesh — so that women can live safely, earn, and lead.

Who we are

A society built by service-minded hearts

PRDS was started by a few service-minded people from Kothacheruvu to work for the social and economic upliftment of the underserved — with women and their families at the centre of everything.

In a drought-prone district where men migrate for wage work and women are left behind, we form women's groups, confront domestic violence, train girls and young people in skills, keep children in school, and bring free eye care to villages that have none.
